Irrigation without any reliable water resources is a challenge and even impossible. Water boreholes are required to provide sufficient water for irrigation throughout dry months in summer when the precipitation rate is usually less than in other months. To keep a high rate and efficient production in agriculture, maintenance of water boreholes is a must. Video inspection is one of the best ways to inspect and find potential borehole-related issues. The following sections will explain more about this technique in terms of its importance, operation, and the necessity of doing this before the deposition on screen and casing of boreholes.
